Attending a Meeting

To attend a meeting, you can either join from the MeetingPlace Web home page, attend from a Click to Attend link in your meeting notification, or call into MeetingPlace from your phone.

To attend a meeting from the MeetingPlace Web home page:

  1. Enter the meeting ID of the meeting you want to join in the field provided, then click the Attend Meeting tab.

  2. If you have signed in previously, MeetingPlace takes you directly into the meeting room to participate in the web conference. Click the telephone icon to have MeetingPlace call you so that you can participate in the voice conference.

  3. If you have not signed in previously, the Attend Meeting Sign In page displays.

  1. Enter your MeetingPlace user ID and password or guest name in the fields provided, and then click the Attend Meeting button.

Notes:

  • If this is the first time your web browser has joined a MeetingPlace web conference, two Security Warning windows appear. To prevent these windows from appearing in the future, place a check in the “Always trust content from Latitude Communications” option box, and click Yes.

  • If you do not know the ID of the meeting, click the Find Meeting tab to browse for the meeting by date. Guests must first register before they are able to search for meetings. In addition, the meeting preference setting for Display Meeting to Everyone? must be set to Yes.

Attending meetings from a Click to Attend link:

If you received a meeting notification, scroll to the end for the Click to Attend link.

  1. Click the link to have MeetingPlace join you to the meeting.

  2. If you have signed in previously, MeetingPlace takes you directly into the meeting room to participate in the web conference.

  3. Click the telephone icon to have MeetingPlace call you so that you can participate in the voice conference.

Attending meetings over the phone:

  1. Call the MeetingPlace phone number.

  2. Press 2 to access your profile.

  3. Enter your profile number followed by #.

  4. Enter your profile password followed by #.

  5. Press 1 for the attend meeting option.

  6. Enter the meeting ID followed by #.

  7. Confirm the meeting ID. MeetingPlace connects you to the meeting.
