Enabling Guests to Outdial from the Web

When a guest user joins a meeting from the Web, a dialog box displays the phone number the guest must dial to join their meeting. To make the attendance process easier, you can set up your meetings so guest users are prompted for their phone number after they select the meeting they want to join. Once a guest enters their phone number, MeetingPlace calls them and connects them to the meeting.

To schedule a meeting that allows guests to outdial from the Web:

  1. From the New Meeting scheduling page, click the Meeting Options icon.

  2. Set the Allow Guest Outdial parameter to Yes and click Submit. If this parameter is read-only, your profile does not allow you to schedule guest outdial meetings.

Note: If the Allow Guest Outdial parameter is enabled, clicking the Call Me button from the Current Meeting page prompts guest users for their phone number.

  1. Click the Schedule button to finish scheduling your meeting.
