Profile Account Basics

The Account Basics page contains your Personal Information, Attend, and Notification settings.

Personal Information

First Name Your first name.

Last Name Your last name.

User ID The ID you need to enter when signing in to MeetingPlace from the Web. Your user ID is case-sensitive and can be a combination of alphanumeric characters.

Profile Number The number you need to enter when logging into MeetingPlace over the phone.

Change Passwords The passwords that are associated with your profile number and User ID.

Time Zone The time zone of the office in which you usually do business.

Language The selected language for the meetings you schedule.

Billing Code The default billing code (assigned by the MeetingPlace System Manager) associated with the meetings you schedule.

Use Abbreviated Prompts Whether MeetingPlace plays abbreviated prompts when you call into the system.

User ID of Contact The user ID of the contact or attendant who supports you.

Attend Settings

Phone Number Your main phone number. MeetingPlace uses this number to call you at the start of meetings you have been invited to (requires the Method of Attending parameter to be set to Find Me or Call Me).

Alternate Phone Number An alternate number MeetingPlace should use to reach you, such as a cell phone number. MeetingPlace uses this number when it receives no answer from your main phone number (requires Method of Attending parameter to be set to Find Me).

Pager Type The type of pager service you use.

Pager Number Your pager number. When a meeting you have been invited to is about to begin, MeetingPlace uses this number to page you with the phone number and ID of the meeting (requires the Method of Attending parameter to be set to Page Me).

Method of Attending Your preferred method of joining a meeting: I'll Call In, Call Me, Page Me, Can't Attend, or Find Me. If this parameter is set to Find Me, MeetingPlace will dial up to three different phone numbers (main, alternate and pager numbers) when trying to reach you. You can specify the order in which you want MeetingPlace to dial these numbers in the Ways to Find Me parameter.

Ways to Find Me Determines the order in which MeetingPlace should dial your main, alternate, and pager numbers in an attempt to reach you.

Receiving Notifications

E-mail Address Your e-mail address. This setting can either be your full Internet e-mail address (UserName@CompanyName.com) or your e-mail alias (John Smith).

Internet E-mail Address Your full Internet e-mail address, such as UserName@CompanyName.com.

Primary Notification Your preferred method for receiving notifications: Group Default, None, or E-mail.

Alternate Delivery Mechanism Your alternate method for receiving notifications: Group Default, None, or E-mail.
