Recording a Meeting Comment

A meeting comment is the voice equivalent of a document. Once a user records a meeting comment, the audio file is associated with the meeting and can be accessed from the Web and through the phone. Meeting comments can be added before, during, or after a meeting to record opinions or ideas.

To record a meeting comment before or after a meeting:

Note: A meeting must be scheduled prior to recording a meeting comment via the Web.

 

Over the phone:

  1. Dial the MeetingPlace system, and press 2 to access your profile.

  1. Go to the Current Meeting page of the meeting you would like to record a meeting comment for.

  1. Enter your profile number and profile password.

  1. Click the Attachments/Recordings icon and go to the Meeting Comments section.

  1. Press 4 to access the MeetingNotes option.

  1. Click the Call Me button to record a meeting comment or message via your telephone.

  1. Enter the month, day, and meeting ID of the meeting you want to record a comment for.

  1. Verify your phone number, and then click OK. MeetingPlace calls you at this number if you have outdial privileges.

  1. Press 1 to continue.

  1. Answer your phone, and then press 1 to access MeetingNotes.

  1. Press 5 to access meeting comments.

  1. Press 5 to record a meeting comment.

  1. Press 1 to record a meeting comment.

  1. Follow the prompts to record a meeting comment. This comment will be posted to the Web for others to access.

  1. Record the comment and then press #.

 

  1. Press 1 to keep the recording.
