Recording a Meeting Message

A meeting message is a recording that everyone attending the meeting will hear. You can record a meeting message in advance of a meeting to leave word that you will be late or unable to attend, or you can record a meeting message during a meeting to broadcast a message to all participants, including those in breakout sessions.

To record a meeting message during a meeting, press #64 on your telephone keypad. After recording your message, MeetingPlace plays it to all meeting participants.

To record a meeting message before a meeting takes place:

Using your phone::

  1. Dial the MeetingPlace system, and press 2 to access your profile.

  1. Enter your profile number and profile password.

  1. Press 4 to access the MeetingNotes option.

  1. Enter the month, day, and meeting ID of the meeting you want to leave a recording for.

  1. Press 1 to continue.

  1. Press 4 to record the meeting message.

  1. Record the meeting message, followed by #.

  1. Press 1 to keep the recording.
