Taking Control of a Shared Application

After an application has been shared, the host can open that application for collaboration so others can take control and make changes. Any changes made are seen by the other meeting attendees in real time.

To make changes to a shared application:

  1. Click the Take Control button located at the bottom of your web collaboration window.

  2. Click on the document and begin making your changes.

  3. Click the Release Control button after completing your changes.

Notes:

  • If the Take Control button does not appear, the host has not enabled the document for collaboration.

  • If the host has shared more than one document, you can choose to collaborate on any of these documents by using the drop-down menu that appears next to the Release Control button.
