Recording and Playback

The recording feature enables you to record both the voice and web portions of your meetings. Specifically, MeetingPlace Web records voice stream and current speaker information, presentations and annotations, whiteboard with annotations, and/or application share. It does not record broadcast prompts, such as "Now joining" or "Now departing". It does not record if there is no voice component to your meeting.

Once the recording has started, all attendees will hear a prompt informing them that the meeting is being recorded.

Notes:

  • The record feature may not be available to all users.

  • You will not be able to record a meeting is there is not enough disk space to store the recording.

  • Accessing rich media playback over a slow to medium modem connection is not recommended.

  • Once recording is started, slides cannot be deleted or moved around in the Slides tab. This restriction applies even if recording is stopped during a meeting.
