To open an application for collaboration using NetMeeting 3.01:

1. Ensure the application you want to open for collaboration is being shared.

2. From the Sharing window, click the Allow Control button.

3. Inform attendees that they can take control of the application by double-clicking on the shared document.

4. To disable collaboration, press the Esc key on your keyboard. You can also double-click on the shared application to regain control and then click the Prevent Control button in the Sharing window.
